The Good News

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."    (John 3:16)

   The Good News (the Gospel) is that Jesus, true God and true man, was born in the flesh and lived among us, revealing His Father's will through His life of love and obedience. His death on the cross was accepted by God as punishment for our sins. The price has been paid. Our sins are forgiven. Jesus did not remain in the grave but rose from the dead to assure us that God accepted His sacrifice.  He lives and we too will live with Him forever.  That is reason for celebration!
