*If you know of an example of someone who is using their time, talents and treasures in a way that honors our Lord, and you would be willing to share that story, we would love to hear it. There are endless wonderful acts of good stewardship that go on in our midst every day. We, the Stewardship Team, would like to acknowledge and celebrate those efforts and encourage others to do the same.

*We would also like to acknowledge and give praise to God for the wonderful and generous response to the call to feed the poor and meet the needs of the neediest of the needy. What a beautiful witness of God’s Holy Spirit in our midst, moving our hearts to respond in love.

Stewardship Corner:

Faithful Response Is Stewardship
When the time was right, Jesus came to live perfectly under the law and to be the perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world.  Through His death and resurrection, we are free to live abundantly and eternally with Him.
Our faithful response to Christ’s love shown on the Cross is our stewardship.  Jesus’ love changes us into people willing and eager to share His love wholeheartedly with others.  Through grace, we are equipped and strengthened to use our lives and resources to serve Him through serving others.  We understand that our lives and resources are gifts from God Who has created and redeemed us.  We acknowledge our role as stewards, rather than owners, of what He has entrusted to us.
Let us be mindful of why Jesus came to live among us.  Our sin closed the door to our relationship with our Heavenly Father, but Jesus, Who willingly went to the Cross on our behalf, opened it again, and God no longer sees our sins.

Prayer:  Dear heavenly Father, I thank You that you have done everything necessary to save me.  Your life, Your suffering, death, and resurrection have assured me of my salvation.  Help me to show my gratitude by what I think, say, and do.  In Jesus’ precious name I pray.  Amen.

Blessings on your stewardship journey!
