What is a Gospel Contact?
A Gospel Contact (also known as a "Critical Event") is when one person gives a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to an unchurched or uncommitted person, so that there is an opportunity for that person to respond--by receiving the message, rejecting it, or asking for more information.  We are counting the Gospel seeds planted.  We depend on the Holy Spirit to work the miracle of faith.

How Do St. Luke's Members and Friends Report Their Gospel Contacts?
At St. Luke, we use Gospel Contact Cards for our members and friends of the church to report their Gospel Contacts.  During the worship services, they place their completed cards in the offering plates (along with their monetary contributions) as offerings of their lives of witnessing and giving to the Lord our God.  During the prayers, we pray for the contacts that have been made, that by the power of the Holy Spirit the seed of God's Word would take root and grow.
