Meet St. Luke's Church Staff

Senior Pastor

Pastor Barry accepted the pastoral call to St. Luke in 1982. He graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne in 1978 and accepted his first call to Trinity, Monroeville, PA., where he served for four years.  As Senior Pastor at St. Luke, besides preaching and teaching, he raises the vision and mission of the Church, trains and mentors the staff and leaders, and works with the various elected boards in carrying out the church's ministry.  His joy and passion is found in "developing leaders who have a heart for reaching the lost."  He and his wife, Andie, have two grown daughters.  Other interests include tennis, running, reading and cooking. 

Mr. Mark Wilt

Mark accepted the call to the principal's position at St. Luke in 1979.  He graduated from Concordia, Bronxville with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and received his first call to teach at Zion Lutheran in Westwood, NJ.  He feels that a vital role in his position is "to guide and assist the teachers and parents in nurturing God's children through Christian education."  He and his wife, Cindy, have two sons.  Other interests include hunting, fishing, and collecting coins.  

Mrs. Cyndi Alviani
Director of Christian Education

Cyndi accepted a call to St. Luke in 2007.  She is a 1982 graduate of Concordia College, River Forest, IL with a B.A. in Education and Theology and certification by the LCMS as a Director of Christian Education.  In her position she is responsible for overseeing youth ministry and Christian education planning such as Sunday morning adult Bible studies and the youth confirmation studies.  Cyndi views her ministry as one of reconciliation, feeling strongly that "Christ's love compels us."  Her other interests include singing, reading, antiquing, and gardening.

Ms. Brenda Fett

Brenda accepted a call to St. Luke in 1982 after graduating from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska with a major in Director of Christian Education and a minor in Elementary Education.  She enjoys teaching fourth grade in St. Luke's Day School and is also on the church staff, involved in directing mission outreach opportunities.  Brenda believes in being "committed to serving the Lord, sharing what Christ has done for all."  Other interests include cross-stitching, walking, being outdoors, and woodworking.

Mrs. SuZee Beblo
Administrative Assistant

SuZee served as a volunteer in St. Luke's church office for eight years before joining the staff in 2004 as a General Secretary.  In 2007 she accepted the position as Administrative Assistant.  She supervises the operations of the office and the support staff, including volunteers, and assists the Senior Pastor in administrative functions.  SuZee receives fulfillment from "knowing that her work is contributing to the growth and effectiveness of the church's ministries."  She has an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and worked for ten years in the accounting department of Servistar.  She and her husband, Alan, have one son.  Other interests include gardening, sewing, reading, and antiques.

Ms. Patricia Neubert
Communications Specialist

Pat has been working at St. Luke School as the Physical Education Teacher since 1999.  While continuing in that capacity, she joined the church staff in 2007 as the Communications Specialist.  She is responsible for overseeing the communications of the church's ministries through the website, newsletter, bulletin announcements, and other available information tools. She is an avid runner, including marathons, and writes a column on running for the local newspaper.  She has a grown son and daughter.

Mrs. Barb Snyder
Office Manager, Receptionist and Facility Coordinator

Barb has been St. Luke's Receptionist and Facility Coordinator since 1997.  In 2007 she accepted the additional responsibilities of Office Manager.  She receives visitors and phone calls to the church office, schedules the use of the facility, coordinates the newsletter production, oversees equipment, and mail services.  She graduated from Knoch High School in the business course of study and completed various computer courses at Butler County Community College.  She and her husband, Tom, have a daughter and a son.  Other interests include singing, gardening and reading. 

Mrs. Judy O'Brokta
Church Secretary

Judy has been St. Luke's Church Secretary since 1993.  Her responsibilities include typing the weekly worship bulletins as well as special worship bulletins.  She prepares certificates and documentation for official acts of the church such as baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals.

Mr. Christopher Walchesky
Director of Music

Christopher was commissioned as Director of Music in October, 2010. He is St. Luke Church organist for traditional worship services on Saturdays and Sundays. He also directs and accompanies St. Luke Adult Choir.
