February Cornerstone

Lots of fun was had by all this past Sunday. The ultimate Mario Kart challenge was Noah Bocian, beating Vicar Bocian by a small margin. (How does the old saying go? "Catch a man a fish - feed him for a day, teach a man to fish - and he'll come back and beat the pants off you in front of everyone!")

Several Senior High Youth were present helping to facilitate the event using both a Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo Wii U each running four controllers in a multi-tiered tournament. Matthew Carney would eventually avenge Vicar Bocian by beating Noah in the bonus round.

We took some time and unpacked Romans 12:2 and what "conforming to the World" looks like when we play video games, take part in various activities, and peer pressures. We also talked about what it means to "NOT conform" but yet still enjoy things like video games, etc. in safety and moderation.

When asked individually what each of them said they liked most about the evening? The universal answer was: "Spending time with my friends!"
